VSware is the student management information system (MIS) used by Coláiste Mhuire, allowing parents to view their child’s timetable, attendance, and examination results from First to Sixth year.
This year, we are excited to introduce a new feature: parents and guardians can now record absences directly through the VSware Parental App.
This means you will no longer need to submit verification of past absences or notify us of future absences—such as appointments—via the Student Journal, email to Year Heads, or phone calls to the office. You can conveniently log absences at any time using the VSware App.
To help you get started, we’ve provided support videos, along with links to VSware's “Parent App - Everything You Need to Know” guide.
We ask all parents to ensure they have access to VSware, verify that your contact information is up to date, and familiarise yourselves with the platform.
The first video "Installing the VSware App" explains how to add the app to your device in under 2 minutes.
The second video "Recording Absences" goes through the process of verifying past and submitting future absences in under 3 minutes.
The third video "Notification Permissions in the VSware App" is a troubleshooting aid explaining how to turn on notifications should you not be receiving these from the school.
The following link (https://support.vsware.ie/en/parent-app-overview) to VSware's “Parent App - Everything You Need to Know” guide dives deeper into specific features.
Thank you for your cooperation in accurately monitoring attendance.
